I encourage you to visit Suffolk Water Park yourself in order to take advantage of our facilities. If you have youngsters in your care then please offer them the opportunity to participate too. Fishing really is one of the very best all-round activities a young person can experience.”

Spent a very nice 24 hours with young Sam Moran Smyth at the impressive Suffolk Water Park. It was hard work in the hot sun and we walked 14km in an effort to pin them down. Sam's first bite was a stunning mid double fully scaled mirror on a floater - very exciting! Later that evening we settled into our swims (although I wasn't fishing - it was all about looking after Sam) and we set about priming traps for the night.
Sam spent a lot of time accurately deploying his Sticky Krill and hemp to a spot at long range and his effort paid off handsomely when he was connected to something very big at 2am!
The beast turned out to be the highly sought after Armour Plated - a fish that has not been banked in over a year! It was Sam's first 30 and pulled the needle round to an impressive 34b 14ozs. Well done Sam!

First visit to SWP as a Bait Tester for AMF1 - fantastic 2 days, caught this lovely looking Mirror Carp on the Mega Nutty Maple 18mm. It fought like a trojan and had me snagged up a couple of times. Fantastic condition, will be returning soon.

Having fished the Suffolk Waterpark complex for many years, I can thoroughly recommend anyone to visit, and visit again & so forward.
Some fantastic fishing on offer, whether it be a heavy old original SWP Carp or a hefty net of silvers, it is more than achievable here.
With SWP being a mature venue it is not just the fishing that is on offer! I have been in the company of pairing kingfisher's, Muntjac Deer & Green Woodpeckers to name a few.
Facilities are good, with a well stocked tackle shop on site. Supplying Maggots, Carp food and an array of equipment, for all discipline's of fishing.
If you are partial to a decent breakfast, then you can get a great start to the day at the cafe situated at the main car park & talk about your plan of attack on the lakes with friends or on your own.
A secure complex with attentive staff, they really will help you make the most of the fishing, they are genuine and will do their very utmost to assist you where needed, "Just ask".
Enjoy & regards,
